Beautiful Pop Up Picnics for Every Occasion
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Olive & Oak Pop-Up Picnics ("Olive & Oak", "we", "our", or "us"). By making a booking, the client agrees to the following terms.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to the event date.
Payments are accepted via bank transfer only. Payment details will be provided upon confirmation.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
A $100 security bond is required for all bookings.
The bond will be returned within 48 hours after the event, provided all equipment is returned in the same condition it was delivered.
If items are damaged, missing, or excessively dirty, the cost of repair or replacement may be deducted from the bond. If damages exceed the bond amount, additional charges may apply.
If a booking is cancelled more than 7 days prior to the event, the deposit will be forfeited.
If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the event, no refund will be provided, unless covered under the weather policy.
Olive & Oak understands that outdoor events can be affected by weather.
In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, the booking may be rescheduled or converted to a credit for another date, subject to availability.
Weather decisions will be made at the discretion of Olive & Oak to ensure the safety of guests and protection of equipment.
No refunds will be issued due to weather.
Standard picnic bookings are for up to 4 hours.
If additional time is required, this must be arranged in advance or will be charged at a rate of:
$50 per additional 30 minutes.
Guests must vacate the setup at the agreed time to allow for pack down.
Clients and guests agree to treat all Olive & Oak equipment with care.
The following are strictly prohibited:
• Standing on tables
• Red wine or staining beverages on rugs, cushions, or furniture
Any damage caused during the event will be charged to the client.
Basic cleaning is included in the service.
If equipment is returned in an excessively dirty condition, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged.
Clients are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of Olive & Oak equipment during the event.
Replacement or repair costs will be charged accordingly.
Olive & Oak provides picnic services across Melbourne, Victoria.
Setups may be arranged at:
• Public parks
• Private homes
• Private venues
Clients are responsible for ensuring the chosen location allows events and complies with local council rules.
Olive & Oak does not supply food or catering.
Clients are welcome to bring their own food or arrange external catering.
Olive & Oak accepts no responsibility for food safety, preparation, or storage of food brought to the event.
Olive & Oak does not supply alcohol.
Clients are responsible for ensuring alcohol consumption complies with local laws and venue regulations.
Olive & Oak accepts no responsibility for:
• Injury to guests during the event
• Loss or damage to personal belongings
• Accidents occurring during the booking period
All guests attend and participate at their own risk.
Olive & Oak may take photographs of picnic setups and events.
These images may be used for marketing, promotional material, and social media unless the client requests otherwise prior to the event.
By confirming a booking with Olive & Oak, the client acknowledges they have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
